1 Family + 1 Motorhome + 1 Year = Our Journey of Faith.
We are a Family. A family of 7. 1 Mom, 1 Dad, 5 Children, and 2 Dogs. We believe in One God, Jesus Christ, The God of Heaven and Earth. A God of Forgiveness, a God of Grace, and a God of Miracles. We have embarked on a 1 year Journey. A Journey Of Faith, which, Lord willing, will take us Across North America and transform our lives, and our Faith forever. We believe that as we travel, the Lord will continue to train us and prepare us for Mission's work in Africa, and use us to touch peoples lives, to minister Gods grace and healing, and to advance His Kingdom on Earth.
Join us, Follow us, Pray for us, as we learn to Live by Faith.

A new way of life emerges
Well, 2 weeks in the Motor-home. Yup. It feels like quite an accomplishment for a family our size with 2 dogs to have actually been able to survive this long in a 24 foot class C Motor-home. Yet strangely enough our cozy 150 sq. ft home feels like, well, like home. Of course we are beginning to realize some of the challenges we will face over the next year, the largest being learning to live without having hot water at the turn of the tap and learning how to give each other personal space, but so far any of the challenges we've had to face have been eclipsed by the great favor and fortune we have enjoyed in our new home. We have been loving the wonderful hospitality of our friends who have graciously opened their showers and laundry rooms to us over the past 2 weeks, and pray that our last month in Lethbridge would be filled with many opportunities to enjoy the fellowship of the friends we have made here over the past almost 6 years. As I sit here writing this, I cant help but wonder at the many wonderful places we will go over the next year and all the special people we will meet as we follow the Lord wherever he would lead us. I also cant help but wonder what challenges await us, what trials we may have to endure, and what hardships we may encounter along the way. This journey isn't something we just dreamed up, it is not a blind leap of faith. It may be crazy, it may not be conventional, but we do believe that it is what the Lord desires for us at this time, and we are willing to step out and believe in faith that our loving heavenly Father will look after us. In my next post I will share a little more of our heart to move to Africa and minister to the poor and needy children, youth and families there. I will also explain a little more about how we feel this Journey fits in to our training and preparation for that call. Now that we are into our new digs and are gearing up to hit the open road I will be updating more often, so check back soon and come along with us as we learn to live by faith.
